Room LVI: Art

Here are illustrated the most important aspects of figurative Roman art, from the Republican era to the late empire, especially through portraits and historical reliefs. 
The case in the centre of the room displays the collection of galvanised plastic reproductions of famous treasures from the Roman silversmiths.
