A series of events dedicated to Croatian culture as part of "Art and Culture of Eastern Europe in Rome"

A month of events featuring representatives of institutions and academia, business and journalism, art and culture, but also of diplomacy and associations connected to the world of immigration and integration.
"Croatian mosaics" at the Museum of Roman Civilization is a series of events dedicated to Croatian culture as part of "Art and Culture of Eastern Europe in Rome", promoted by the Assessorato alle Politiche Culturali e Centro Storico – Sovraintendenza ai Beni Culturali di Roma Capitale and the Local Councillor for Eastern Europe Tetyana Kuzyk, the Italian-Croatian Association in Rome in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Italy.
Goal of the initiative is to promote the customs and traditions - with a journey through art and culture - of the diversity and richness of its artistic and cultural heritage.
Paintings, photographs and other artifacts on display belonging to Croatian tradition and history, including:
- a group exhibition featuring:
Željko Jančić Zec;
Stanko Ivanković;
Andro Grdinić;
- the contemporary Croatian naive painters: Josip Gregurić, Stjepan Pongrac, Zdravko Šabarić and Zlatko Štrfiček;
Marko Vrdoljak – "Zagreb“, a photographic exhibit;
- Croatian Glagolitic writing;
- Laudato - exhibition of sacred Croatian art;
- Mario Braškić: model of the Cathedral of St. Doimo in Split (formerly Diocletian's mausoleum);
- Exhibition of drawings by the students of Croatian Supplementary School in Rome.

BOOKING:
- Groups (max 30 visitors): guided tours are available either for the museum and/or exhibition. A booking service is available for groups (max 30visitors) for an additional booking fee of € 25,00;
- Schools (max 30 visitors): guided tours are available; booking is required for the admission.
Booking for individual visitors is available only when purchasing online tickets. If you book in advance you can skip the line by going directly to the ticket window.
